The Invention of Religion

Religion, I see it is nothing more than a mechanism gone horribly awry. Now what is the purpose of such a strange “mechanism” is the first question one might ask. Well “good”, “bad”, and “evil”, they are adjectives, and as you know adjectives mean nothing with out the one perceiving the described noun.
And the noun here is moral, describing the actions of humans. With out the human, there is no noun, and no adjective, so lets think as if there were no humans in the picture, but still a noun, an idea to think about, how will you conceive any noun, conceiving for humans is nothing but realizing the adjectives created to describe said noun, so how can we do this? This is something I can not explain to you, but I can still try to explain religion through this method.

From the beginning of man’s “however-the-fuck-it-happened” we have had one instinct, survival.
If you are hungry but have no food, why not steal some? See a smaller less advanced organism, slaughter it and eat it. Now these could both be argued as “right”, or “wrong”, but why? Well, some
can’t stand the thought of something being killed, or the thought of something being stolen from them.
“Them”!  That’s It! If something is considered wrong, it is something you would not want to happen to yourself, something you might or might not care if happens to others, the main focus is yourself.
Now this may be selfish, but is it really? Another thing I can not answer.

Now I think man is the most dangerous organism ever spawned, He can repair himself with stem-cells, keep himself alive much longer than he should with his life support machines, split the nucleus of an atom releasing terrifying power, use his super-computers to predict the complex outcome of events with scary accuracy, produce tiny  black-holes inside of his particle accelerators and the uncanny ability to slowly understand more and more about the universe around him. He is
like a “god”. His abilities and knowledge grow every day,  but his understanding as he knows and much more as he does not “understand his own understanding” is very very very narrow, because of his little invention of adjectives.

Now if you think about it real hard you will realize most of our complex thought is “words”, when you think about something its as if your mind “can be read”, read as if there were words to read, nouns, the complex ideas, the body of the data of a concept, or idea, and adjectives, the small chunks of data linking to others, and containing small ideas and concepts them selfs.

Now I don’t know the real number, but I would say ninety percent of our overall daily thought is “spoken” inside our minds, by our “mental mouth”.

The reason I sway from the main topic is that I would like you to see, that “good”, “evil”, are nothing
but adjectives, they only mean something to the ones that perceive them.

Now getting back the the early days of mankind, survival is very difficult, even a cut or scratch could mean death, a large predatorial “monster” could be around any corner, behind a tree, our right behind you. Even another human should be assumed to be a threat. And as man realized he did better in large groups or colonies, which grew into towns, cities and eventually became the sum of a massive population, with all these dangerous creatures all in one place, he had to be able to feel safe at night, the leaders needed a way to control hundreds of people should the situation not exactly favor them, and most of all, they needed a way to explain the mysterious world around them and why they were there.

Now these are just a few of the reasons to explain this mumbo-jumbo we call religion, another can be understood by looking at people today, with things so easy and carefree a persons true nature seems to come out, and I must say, people are all big pussies!

One, it is hard for most people to except that we are worthless, each and every one, we have no purpose, and no value to any one else than our self’s. Another thing is that we have no damn clue how we got here, well, not for sure. And add that to the fact that this short beautiful state we call awareness will soon fade away, we begin to realize how tiny we are, and we just can’t lie to our self’s all the time, so maybe if “something”, much “greater”, than us created us, gave us a “soul”, that will live forever, and will take us it “it’s” wonderful magical playground in the sky, then just maybe we pussies can be at peace for our short miserable existence.

Now the best I can figure is as man slowly saw the world around him, he began to wonder what caused all of this, a wonderful instinct to question things, a stupid idea to settle for a made up concept and teach that to your children. You can see religion has changed so much over the last “5000″ years, or as I am more sure few hundred thousand(that man has existed on this planet), and you know, for most of our time, written language did not exist, so many could speak, but few could read or write, even kings had to had readers and writers do their literal tasks for them.
And as a father tells his son a story, dies, and the son has a child, and tells his son the story, over generations stories might get mixed up, confused or intentionally changed for whatever reasons, thus resulting in many religions. Now you see, some countries have their own religion, but I’m going to focus for now on Christianity and Islam. Why the hell would I do that you ask? Well if you study them and their history closely you might start to have different ideas about all religions, with Christianity being one of the widest spread religions in this age, and Islam, the seemingly most insane (though I would say they are about equally insane if you ask me) religion, its easy to see, they come from a religion before. I remember a bible story(I was raised by obsessed Christians, so I remember it well.) about a man named Abraham and his barren (spoiled vagina) wife who’s name I don’t remember and their female servant who was seemingly not of the same nationality as the two owners, I’m sorry, one owner, i forgot women were owned by men in those days, well back to the story, he kept porkin his wife, and she kept spitting dust out of her vag’. She was far past the age to bear children and her ovaries were quite dried out and non-functional. So they ended up agreeing for Abraham to go pound their servant since she could turn those knuckle children into some real children, Abraham prayed to his god, and his god said, “no”. Well he “did not have faith in his god” and screwed his servant anyways, and she had a son, the later his wife some how ended up pregnant and also had a kid, so in the end, he kept the kid his wife had and sent his servant with her child out into the desert, or some shit like that. You can study the story in more detail if you want, but I really don’t care, I am only telling you, Abraham, Christian, his servant, probably also christian, and the story is that this is where Arabs where shit out into the world, this is a perfect example of religion, how we have so many, and why they pertain to a race or nationality. People were much fewer in number, in “those days” and traveled in groups, groups got too large so they migrated to different places away from each other, seeming to have settled today in their current position.

Now the more and more I thought about this, the more and more I was sure all religion is full of shit, every religion states the following:

1. Our “god/gods” is/are the only real “god/gods”, all others are fake.
2. Killing and Stealing (the things man fear happening to him self the most) are wrong
3. We have some way of eternal awareness (soul, reincarnation or other bs)
4. (If not reincarnation ) There is a heaven, you will be rewarded there if you are a good person,
and a hell where you will be punished if you are a bad person, and both last forever.
5. “god” is bigger, badder, smarter, and more powerful than man, “its creation”.
6. “satan” is responsible for our bad actions and without him we would be good.
7. “demons” are responsible for peoples’ “evil” actions and magic tricks that could not be
explained and every form of ancient science.

The above are just some of, and not every thing as I am not a person to study something I don’t believe in.

Now these seem like the wishful thinking of humans to me if I have ever seen it.
As does the invention of ghosts (hoping we have souls or spirits), and aliens (hoping we are not alone, the first damn reason we invented god) and recently today the idea of aliens and gods or angels being the same thing.

As you can see, humans are pretty fucking stupid and they like to dream, combine this with the chaotic history of our evolution the last few hundred thousand years and you have a fat lady with down-syndrome shitting out a big heaping plate of “Religion”!

So what’d we learn here, religion seems to have been invented by man to ensure his protection form himself, provide a worthless sense of peace and self worth, and drive out illogical actions of selfishness and other “sins” which defy the whole point of logic being that they are a load of crap to begin with. Now I would encourage you, don’t make a decision if you do not posses the knowledge to make that decision, like “there is/is not a god”, and this should apply to everything. The result? A race of logical minded people. My ideas might not be completely correct but I ensure you, they are pretty damn spot on, good day sir.

Introduction

Greetings reader, welcome to a perspective most of you are sure to reject. How ever gradually over time I will reveal the world to you. Now who am I to think I know something you don’t? I am me, that’s who. I do not bother to take a measurement of knowledge, because a measurement’s actual value can not be conceived without another known value to compare it to, and how do we conceive that value? By comparing it to zero. Now what is zero’s value? In digital components zero is about 0.02 volts, now how do we determine the value of a volt. Can you see the big picture at all yet? Even zero is something.

Do you see? Nothing can be understood without something to compare it to. But the universe is quite different, people assume space can be bent as if an object, or time can be rewound as if a video cassette, that there is good, evil, or even a purpose in life. Some times one must have a “neutral” perspective to even begin to properly understand the things around them.

I would show you how to see through my eyes, but I can not. It is a stupid idea, because I am what you would call unhappy. Ignorance is bliss, is it not? Looking at the world with no emotions, or personality is boring, it’s an endless tedious task, I feel like I am a computer, only executing the commands I have been given, the commands are the world around me and the information I perceive. You don’t need emotions to be miserable, only certain knowledge about the things that can really bother one. And sad to say most of this comes from the awareness of the existence of the
homo-sapiens, funny enough it’s latin meaning is “knowing, wise man”. This makes me want to laugh if I was capable. Wisdom is considered a deeper understanding of people, things of the world, and situations in which one would need to apply certain knowledge and judgement to succeed.
I can not count how many old fools claim they are wise only because they have been polluting the air with their ignorance for most of their lives. This is why I write this blog, maybe you will learn some thing from these posts.

I welcome you to question me in any way, ask anything, if something in my words confuses you, please respond, I also welcome you to share any insight or opinions you have, be it on my blog, or things not mentioned, any thing on your mind, within reason. Thank you for reading.
Much, much more to follow.
